Trinity Trails is a new guided and self-guided walking tour that will enable visitors to explore Trinity College and find out more about one of Ireland’s most iconic universities.

A huge campus filled with leafy squares, cobblestoned paths, and historic buildings is unknown to many visitors who want to explore Trinity College and its popular attraction The Book of Kells.
The new in-person guided and the multimedia self-guided walking tour covers the college’s 47-acre site, bringing the school’s elegant Georgian and Victorian architecture to life, as well as uncovering its 400-year-old history.
Key points of interest along the guided trail include the college’s Old Anatomy Museum, the Museum Building, as well as the Rose Garden and Zoological Museum.
Visitors who take the self-guided tour will have access to an immersive 360o augmented reality experience, with the opportunity to engage with two of the Zoological Museum’s most precious artifacts.
They include the skeleton of Prince Tom the Royal Elephant, a celebrity of the Victorian age, and the Great Auk, a large flightless bird that became extinct in 1844.
