Mary and Mick’s Coastal Cottage is located in the town of Barna, which is the gateway to Connemara, a popular area for many tourists to explore. The cottage is a 15-minute drive from Galway City, 10 minutes from Salthill, a 1 minute-walk to the beach and a 3-minute walk to a great selection of restaurants, pubs, hotels, cafés, a launderette and a supermarket. At the back of the house, guests can look out on Galway Bay and see cows, calves and horses grazing in the fields. Mary and Mick’s Coastal Cottage has been named after the owner’s parents, Mick and Mary. An ideal guest would be “somebody who looks after the property as if it was their own home.”
Availability: Open year-round normally, but the house will be upgraded in October and will be closed at that time.
